The Resurrection
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
As the Solemnity of Corpus Christi approaches, we recall Christ’s Resurrection, his triumph over sin and death.
And it happened that, while he was with them at table, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them. With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him, but he vanished from their sight.
LUKE 24:30-31
A brief period of silence is observed.
V. The cup of salvation I will raise;
R. I will call on the name of the Lord.
Concluding Prayer
O God, who in this wonderful Sacrament have left us a memorial of your Passion, grant us, we pray, so to revere the sacred mysteries of your Body and Blood that we may always experience in ourselves the fruits of your redemption. Who live and reign with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.
Jesus, Source of New Life, set our hearts on fire with the gift of your Spirit, and grant us the grace to proclaim your risen life. Amen.

La Resurrección
En el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo. Amén.
Al acercarse la Solemnidad del Corpus Christi, recordamos la resurrección de Cristo, su triunfo sobre el pecado y la muerte.
Cuando estaban a la mesa, tomó un pan, pronunció la bendición, lo partió y se lo dio. Entonces se les abrieron los ojos y lo reconocieron, pero él se les desapareció.

Señor nuestro Jesucristo, que en este admirable sacramento nos dejaste el memorial de tu pasión, concédenos venerar de tal modo los sagrados misterios de tu Cuerpo y de tu Sangre, que experimentemos continuamente en nosotros el fruto de tu redención. Tú que vives y reinas con el Padre en la unidad del Espíritu Santo y eres Dios por los siglos de los siglos.
Jesús, Fuente de Vida Nueva, enciende nuestros corazones con el don de tu Espíritu, y concédenos la gracia de proclamar tu vida eterna. Amén.
