Attached to this post please find the obituary for the Most Rev. Alexander J. Brunett, emeritus archbishop of Seattle, who died January 31. Click here to read it. He was 86. Viewing of the body is today, February 11, at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, from 2 to 5:30 p.m. The Vigil is at 7 p.m., with Archbishop Emeritus J. Peter Sartain presiding. Bishop William Skylstad, Bishop Emeritus of Spokane, will preach. The Mass of Resurrection, also at St. James, will be Wednesday, February 12, at 11 a.m. Seattle Archbishop Paul Etienne will preside and Bishop George Thomas of Las Vegas will preach. Burial will be at Holyrood Cemetery at around 4 pm. Archbishop Etienne will preside.

Condolences may be sent to Archbishop’s brother Paul, and/or sister, Rita.
