VIRTUS AWARENESS SESSION
Effective February 2015, the Diocese of Yakima has substantially changed the way it conducts training for its pre-register with VIRTUS® before attending. Walk-in’s are permitted. To register follow the registration instructions.

Starting February 2015, all people who work or volunteer within the Diocese of Yakima must attend a live VIRTUS session.If you have any questions concerning your VIRTUS account, please go on-line to look at your account information or discuss the matter with your local Safe Environment Coordinator.
All priests, deacons, other ministers, employees and volunteers who may or may not have contact with children, young people and vulnerable adults as part of their duties are required to complete the VIRTUS® Protecting God’s Children Awareness Session.
Awareness training sessions, called Protecting God’s Children for Adults, are being held across the Diocese by VIRTUS® trained facilitators. To view a schedule of training sessions for the Diocese of Yakima, . Select Yakima, WA (Diocese) from the drop-down list. You will also be able to pre-register for a training session at that time. You pre-register with VIRTUS® before attending. Walk-in’s will however be permitted.
All priests, deacons, other ministers, employees and volunteers must pre-register online for Protecting God’s Children for Adults by visiting the VIRTUS® website and select Registration. Then select View a List of Sessions, and select Yakima, WA (Diocese). You will then receive the most current schedule of upcoming sessions. To pre-register, click on Start Registration and type in a user id and password. Next, just click on Continue to complete the registration process.
All members of the clergy, employees and adult volunteers must pre-register online. If you don’t have access to the internet, please call the parish or school where you work or volunteer.
