After-School Program Coordinator – St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Ephrata, WA
Salary: $16.28/hour – $18.25/hour, depending on experience and years of service, Part-Time

Benefits: Employee benefits are not available for employees working less than 20 hours a week. Vacation: no vacation accrual.

St. Rose of Lima Catholic School is seeking an after-school program coordinator. The after-school program coordinator is responsible for planning, fulfilling, and maintaining after-school activities for students from Monday-Friday, 2:30-5:30. The coordinator will be responsible for scheduling homework completion, outside activities, and inside games and after-school snacks. A framed schedule will be provided. The After-school coordinator is responsible for ensuring each student is accounted for at the beginning of their duty, and each student is checked out to their parent/guardian each afternoon/evening. The coordinator is responsible for managing an assistant. The coordinator is expected to uphold St. Rose of Lima’s behavior expectations and follow all St. Rose school rules.

Physical Education / Health Specialist – St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Ephrata, WA
Salary: $17 – 18/ hour – Part-Time

St. Rose of Lima in Ephrata is hiring a part-time Physical Education/ Health Specialist. Religious Education Coordinator – St. Joseph Parish, Kennewick
Salary $20-$25 per hour – Full-Time position

St. Joseph Parish in Kennewick is seeking a full-time (35 hrs. per week) Religious Education Coordinator with one or more years of experience teaching or working with children in a classroom. Salary is $20-$25 per hour with benefits included. The religious education coordinator is responsible for organizing and developing the religious education and sacramental program for children and youth in school and the parish. Part-time Bi-Lingual Secretary Receptionist – Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Moses Lake
Employment Status: 20 hours per week

The secretary/receptionist position provides support in an office environment for the day-to-day operations of the parish so that the mission of the parish is successfully achieved. A comprehensive package of benefits (pro-rated based on hours worked per week): A medical plan, dental, vision, basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our diocesan 403(b) plan. Employees will also receive sick leave, vacation time based on years of service as well as paid holidays. Additional voluntary benefits are available for enrollment: voluntary life, accidental death and disability, and long term care.

403(B) Eligibility: Employees are eligible to participate in this employer paid tax favored retirement plan if they are age 21, and have worked for the Diocese of Yakima for 12 consecutive months, and worked 1000 hours in each 12-month period.

Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Moses Lake has a part-time Religious Education Coordinator position available. The Religious Education Coordinator will oversee all aspects of parish religious education and sacramental preparation for kindergarten through high school students. This person reports directly to the Pastor. The Religious Education Coordinator assists in fostering a vision of active and vibrant catechesis for all grade levels within the parish. The candidate will need to be an active practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who displays a professional and friendly demeanor in representing the parish.

Part-Time Office Assistant – St. Pius X, Quincy, WA
Salary: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour – Part-Time

St. Pius X Parish in Quincy is seeking a Part-time Office Assistant. The office assistant is responsible for completing verbal and written communication and being available on Tuesday through Friday from 1 PM to 5 PM (16 hours a week) and has knowledge about website construction and upkeep. Light lifting may be needed to complete tasks. There are no benefits available, and the time off may be negotiated in advance with approval. The unpaid holiday time is available and currently 11 days a calendar year.

The following are essential duties associated with the position of an Office Assistant:

  • Basic secretarial duties include, but are not limited to, greeting people, answering phones, filing, computer entry, photocopying, Bookstore sales, order supplies.
  • Must communicate in English and Spanish, both verbally and in written form.
  • Assist Office Administrator and Pastor in areas as needed, such as charity requests, social events, mailers, parishioner data entry, bulletin folding, etc.
  • Keep Sacrament fliers copied and available in church.
  • Send emails as needed to parishioners about upcoming parish-wide events.
  • Keep parish website information current.
  • Keep Parish Bookstore stocked and sell products as needed.

Afterschool Care Director – Christ the King Catholic School, Richland, WA
Salary: $18.00/hr. (Depending on qualifications and experience) Part-Time

Christ the King Catholic School is hiring a Afterschool Care Director. The afterschool care director manages the childcare program that operates outside of school hours for school children ages 3-14. The director works closely with the school principal to provide an enriching and educationally sound experience for the children enrolled. The director will develop the structure of the program based on the needs and interests of the students and their parents, manage the program staff and operations, and oversee communication regarding program administration.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The following are essential duties associated with the position:

  1. Create and maintain a welcoming and friendly environment for all children, parents and visitors
  2. Ensure that effective classroom management is always maintained
  3. Assist in the supervision of children
  4. Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the environment is appropriately maintained
  5. Follow all school and building regulations for the safety of the children
  6. Attend staff meetings, trainings and school events as requested by principal
  7. Always present a positive and professional image
  8. Maintain open and effective communication with the classroom teachers, parents, and administration
  9. Assist in identifying opportunities and/or problems with program operations and resolve them in cooperation with the staff and principal
  10. Maintain confidentiality regarding families, students, and the school
  11. Prepare/purchase materials to support the program
  12. Work in collaboration with the school finance manager and principal to oversee program finances
  13. Assist principal in hiring support staff
  14. Schedule and supervise support staff
  15. Prepare and update program information to communicate to school community
