Bilingual Administrative Assistant – Pastoral Center Yakima WA

The Diocese of Yakima has a full-time position available for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant. The Bilingual Administrative Assistant receives and routes all visitors and incoming calls in a professional and welcoming manner and provides administrative support to the Office of the Bishop (e.g. generates correspondence, record-keeping, and assists with the logistics of diocesan events). The candidate must have a minimum of a High School diploma, post-secondary education is preferred but not required.

Maintenance Supervisor – Pastoral Center Yakima WA

The Diocese of Yakima has a position available for a Maintenance Supervisor. The position is full-time, 35 hours a week. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness and upkeep of the Diocesan campus facilities, assist with potential repair and maintenance projects, and advise the Chief Financial Officer with compliance and safety related policies.

2nd Grade Teacher – Christ the King Catholic School, Yakima, WA

Christ the King Catholic School in Richland, WA is seeking a second grade classroom teacher is responsible for supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the Mission of the school, acting as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church and facilitating a positive, effective, and welcoming learning environment. This includes but is not limited to tasks such as classroom management, lesson planning, collegial collaboration, accurately evaluating the academic and social growth of students and providing timely feedback, adhering to and upholding the school discipline policy, and maintaining parent communication. Full-Time Bilingual Secretary/Receptionist –  Our Lady of Fatima Parish Moses Lake, WA

We are hiring for a full-time bilingual Secretary/Receptionist for the parish office. This is working approximately 35 to 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.
We need somebody who is hospitable and warm, who will be a welcoming presence for every visitor they greet. This position is a ministry of service best filled by one who lives and loves our Catholic faith, and whose knowledge, presence and demeanor reflect this in the way they assist our many callers and visitors. Bookkeeper – Our Lady of Fatima, Moses Lake, Washington

Our Lady of Fatima in Moses Lake has a part-time position open for a Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper position’s duties include bookkeeping responsibilities (payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax preparation and administration), and Diocesan finance policy and procedure accountability. Must be pleasant and professional. There may be other assignments or accounting analysis aside from the above, that the Diocese or local Pastor may require.

The position will require a candidate who is a self-starter. At least 2 years of bookkeeping training, a B.S. in accounting or business is preferred as well as experience with QuickBooks software.

Part-Time Secretary – St. Joseph Catholic School, Kennewick, WA

St. Joseph Catholic School in Kennewick, WA is looking to fill a part-time secretary position. The applicant needs to be comfortable with Microsoft Office, and keep Student Information System software updated, provide order and billing support for classroom and teacher materials. The candidate will help oversee the school website and Facebook pages, and work with new hires and maintain staff records as needed. The candidate will need to excel at customer service and follow through on assignments. The hours for the position will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 4 days per week.

Paraprofessional – St. Joseph Catholic School, Kennewick, WA

St. Joseph Catholic School in Kennewick is seeking a paraprofessional’s aide for the elementary classroom. The paraprofessional instructional aide will work alongside the classroom teacher to support student learning, working one-on-one with students as well as with groups of students, under the direction of the classroom teacher. Additional duties include clerical, lunch and recess supervisory, and management tasks.

Part-Time Custodian- Christ the King Catholic School, Richland, WA

Christ the King Catholic School is looking for a part-time school custodian who works well with others, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates initiative. The school custodian will work with the custodial team to ensure the following:

  • All publicly accessible areas of the school are clean and ready for staff members, students and the public to use.
  • Make minor repairs, change light bulbs, vacuum, sweep and scrub floors, sanitize surfaces, and restock items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies.
  • Maintain supply inventory, submit purchase and repair requests, and assist with preparations for events.

Youth Minister– St. Joseph Parish, Wenatchee, WA

St. Joseph Parish, WA is seeking to hire a full time energetic Youth Minister. The candidate must be an active Roman Catholic who will model and passionately encourage our youth in Catholic gospel living and Catholic identity. Catholic Charities has job openings for PREPARES Bilingual Coordinator

Position Summary:
PREPARES is an initiative of the Bishops of Washington state that is focused on developing support for families through the faith community. This position is responsible for the recruitment, and training of parish and community-based volunteers for PREPARES for the purpose of supporting pregnant and parenting women, families and their children up to age five. The position will coordinate with the Evangelization and Faith Formation Director with the Diocese of Yakima and Catholic Charities Parish Outreach Coordinator and other Catholic Charities programs for client referrals and resources.
