Bilingual Administrative Assistant – Pastoral Center Yakima WA

The Diocese of Yakima has a full-time position available for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant. The Bilingual Administrative Assistant receives and routes all visitors and incoming calls in a professional and welcoming manner and provides administrative support to the Office of the Bishop (e.g. generates correspondence, record-keeping, and assists with the logistics of diocesan events). The candidate must have a minimum of a High School diploma, post-secondary education is preferred but not required.

Part-Time Secretary – St. Joseph Catholic School, Kennewick, WA

St. Joseph Catholic School in Kennewick, WA is looking to fill a part-time secretary position. The applicant needs to be comfortable with Microsoft Office, and keep Student Information System software updated, provide order and billing support for classroom and teacher materials. The candidate will help oversee the school website and Facebook pages, and work with new hires and maintain staff records as needed. The candidate will need to excel at customer service and follow through on assignments. The hours for the position will be from 11:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Full-Time Bilingual Secretary/Receptionist –  Our Lady of Fatima Parish Moses Lake, WA

We are hiring for a full-time bilingual Secretary/Receptionist for the parish office. This is working approximately 35 to 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.
We need somebody who is hospitable and warm, who will be a welcoming presence for every visitor they greet. Part-Time Custodian- Christ the King Catholic School, Richland, WA

Christ the King Catholic School is looking for a part-time school custodian who works well with others, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates initiative. The school custodian will work with the custodial team to ensure the following:

  • All publicly accessible areas of the school are clean and ready for staff members, students and the public to use.
  • Make minor repairs, change light bulbs, vacuum, sweep and scrub floors, sanitize surfaces, and restock items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies.
  • Maintain supply inventory, submit purchase and repair requests, and assist with preparations for events.
  • The ideal candidate is observant, respectful, motivated, and committed to providing school members, visitors, and staff with a clean, orderly environment and is knowledgeable about proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques.

Full-Time Math Teacher- Christ the King Catholic School, Richland, WA

Christ the King Catholic School in Richland, WA is looking to fill a full-time middle school math teaching position for the 2021-2022 school year. The math teacher is responsible for supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school, acting as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church, and facilitating a positive, effective, and welcoming learning environment.  This includes but is not limited to tasks such as classroom management, lesson planning, collegial collaboration, adhering to and upholding the school discipline policy, and maintaining parent communication.  In addition to the general teaching requirements, instructional expectations are listed below:

  • Effectively teaching grade level and math course standards in 5th – 8th grade.
  • Engaging students in their learning.
  • Teaching students to use and apply mathematical representations to solve problems.
  • Implementing tasks that promote reasoning and problem solving.
  • Eliciting evidence of student thinking.
  • Focusing on the development of the whole child within the policies of Christ the King Catholic School and the Diocese of Yakima.

The perfect candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and a valid Washington State teaching certificate in relevant curricular areas. Endorsements in high school math instruction is preferred, but not required.

Salary is dependent on education and experience; full benefit package is offered to all qualifying employees.

Christ the King Parish has a full-time position for contributions bookkeeper. The contributions bookkeeper position provides support for all income recording and contributions related duties. Educational Assistant- Christ the King Catholic School, Richland, WA

Christ the King Catholic School in Richland, WA is looking to hire Part Time Educational Assistants for the 2021-2022 school year. The primary role of the educational assistant (EA) is to help with the general supervision, instruction and management of students. Youth Minister– St. Joseph Parish, Wenatchee, WA

St. Joseph Parish, WA is seeking to hire a full time energetic Youth Minister. The candidate must be an active Roman Catholic who will model and passionately encourage our youth in Catholic gospel living and Catholic identity. The candidate must have an undergraduate degree and have a minimum of two to five years’ experience in Roman Catholic parish ministry.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in theology, scripture and moral Catholic teachings.

We are seeking a dynamic candidate whose responsibility is the planning and development of the Parish Youth Ministry Program including High School and Middle School youth. Essential job functions would be the ability to develop, coordinate and implement youth programs, faith formation and catechesis, Confirmation preparation, youth retreats, liturgies, and service opportunities.

Catholic Charities has job openings for PREPARES Bilingual Coordinator

Position Summary:
PREPARES is an initiative of the Bishops of Washington state that is focused on developing support for families through the faith community. This position is responsible for the recruitment, and training of parish and community-based volunteers for PREPARES for the purpose of supporting pregnant and parenting women, families and their children up to age five. The position will coordinate with the Evangelization and Faith Formation Director with the Diocese of Yakima and Catholic Charities Parish Outreach Coordinator and other Catholic Charities programs for client referrals and resources.
