Full-Time Health and Fitness Teacher- Christ the King School, Richland, WA

Finance Officer – St. Patrick Catholic Parish-Pasco, WA 

Purpose & Vision Parish Finance Officer: 

Oversee daily operations, the completion of duties, tasks or responsibilities required by civil and canon law for the financial, physical and personnel resources of the parish, school and Children’s Center. The Finance Officer understands and is committed to the mission of the parish and is entrusted with management of the financial, physical and personnel resources of the parish. He/she shall carry out his/her responsibilities under the direction of the Pastor, in collaboration with parish and finance councils in a manner that reflects and applies Catholic ethical and moral standards and civil requirements, maintains confidentiality in all areas of responsibilities and will continue professional and personal spiritual development. 

1. Four years of business experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field OR a minimum of eight years of business experience
2. A minimum of five years of finance management experience, at least 3 years of budgeting experience required
3. A minimum of two years of personnel management experience
4. Working knowledge of accounting software and standard accounting principles, preference of 2 or more years of Quickbooks Online
5. Demonstrated leadership and effective interpersonal communication skills
6. Ability to prioritize work assignments for self and others
7. Flexibility to adjust to changes in schedules, routines and job assignments.

School Principal – St. Patrick School, Pasco, Washington

St. Patrick is a bi-lingual parish of over 3,000 families in Pasco, WA, part of the Tri-Cities, a region of ethnic diversity with a range of employment from farming, viticulture, transportation, nuclear energy to research. Our K-8 school is fully accredited by the WCEA and has 185 students, a large percentage qualify for free and reduced lunch. Many of our families are Spanish speaking.

Candidates must be a practicing Catholics, experienced in school administration, hold a current Washington State principal certificate, be in the process of obtaining one or be able to obtain one, and be willing to assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation and administration of the school. Candidates must be willing to work closely with the pastor, the School Advisory Board and collaborate with other parish ministers and consultative bodies.

The ideal candidate will be bi-lingual, Spanish/English, He/she will have experience in education of children with Spanish speaking parents, curriculum development and assessment, and strategic planning. Salary is based on education and experience and includes a full suite of benefits.

Position Summary:
PREPARES is an initiative of the Bishops of Washington state that is focused on developing support for families through the faith community. This position is responsible for the recruitment, and training of parish and community-based volunteers for PREPARES for the purpose of supporting pregnant and parenting women, families and their children up to age five. The position will coordinate with the Evangelization and Faith Formation Director with the Diocese of Yakima and Catholic Charities Parish Outreach Coordinator and other Catholic Charities programs for client referrals and resources.
