Christ the King Catholic School in Richland, Washington is hiring a full time 8th grade English Language Arts and Religion Teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. The eighth grade English language arts and religion teacher is responsible for supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school, acting as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church, and for facilitating a positive, effective, and welcoming learning environment.

This includes but is not limited to tasks such as classroom management, lesson planning, collegial collaboration, accurately evaluating the academic and social growth of students and providing timely feedback, adhering to and upholding the school discipline policy, and maintaining parent communication. The perfect candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and a valid Washington State teaching certificate in relevant curricular areas and be a practicing Catholic. Advancement Director – Christ the King Catholic School in Richland, WA

Christ the King Catholic School is looking for a Part-Time Advancement Director. The Advancement Director will work with school administration to support and communicate the Catholic mission of the school, cultivate and strengthen recruitment and retention, and obtain support and resources to meet current and long-term goals.
The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with a BA in Marketing or comparable degree and at least 2 years’ experience.

  • Salary – To be negotiated based on education and experience. Potential for incentive bonus.

Bookkeeper- Part-time,temporary Central Washington Catholic Foundation
The Central Washington Catholic Foundation is seeking a temporary, part-time 20 hour per week Bookkeeper with flexible hours. The successful candidate will possess superior office, critical thinking and customer service skills – and will have experience managing business or nonprofit bookkeeping operations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. Quick Books experience is required and customer database software experience is highly desirable.
The CWCF mission is to provide enduring support for Catholic education in Central Washington.

Position Summary:
PREPARES is an initiative of the Bishops of Washington state that is focused on developing support for families through the faith community. This position is responsible for the recruitment, and training of parish and community-based volunteers for PREPARES for the purpose of supporting pregnant and parenting women, families and their children up to age five. The position will coordinate with the Evangelization and Faith Formation Director with the Diocese of Yakima and Catholic Charities Parish Outreach Coordinator and other Catholic Charities programs for client referrals and resources.
